MobileZX J2ME version : Spectrum 48K Emulator 1. Overview Spectrum 48K was a very popular home computer based on the old (but good) Z80A processor. This is a portable emulator based on J2ME platform from Sun. 2. Requirements Any handset with midp2.0 support. If you want you can use a development kit from SUN (WTK2.0 - Wireless ToolKit 2.0) in order to compile it and test it on an emulator. 3. How to compile Just use WTK2.0 from Sun to compile, build, test and deploy the application. Copy the directory structure into an app directory and create a project for the emulator. 4. How to run WTK2.0 has an emulator where you can test it. If you want to upload it to a device, you need to deploy it into two files, a .jad and .jar using the "create package" option in WTK2.0. 5. Other versions I've written a version of this emulator in C++ using Mophun platform (www.mophun.com). It's quite faster than J2ME version, you can try it, but there is problem with the certification process created by Synergenix (mophun creator). This problem is when you want to upload the application to a real phone. 6. Contact You can write me if you have any futher question.
